Moving through Uncertainty

The unsettling feel that arises when things are unclear of how it is is very familiar yet always a possibility to know that there is something I can do about it in the moment. Trying to identify what is it in this moment that is within my control helps understand my way to engage in this current situation and let go of the need to control things that are outside my control. The spiritual sense of surrender the things outside my control to the higher power helps me connect with the agency that I have in this moment.

Noticing how my body softens and adapts to the nature of things with that intention set. This is so that the floundering feeling of not having anything in my control helps tolerate the distress a bit better. This helps me ground in the moment and enable me to see some clarity in how I proceed in the next step. This mindful approach to moving through uncertainty helps me navigate the anxieties in the uncertainty. Here’s to moving through uncertainty, one step at a time…:)
